Access Your SwissDisk As A Mac Volume (Panther)

Your SwissDisk as a Mac OS X VolumeIt is very easy to configure your Mac OS X filesystem to mount your SwissDisk as if it were another hard drive. This is by far the easiest and best method to use your encrypted online storage, as it will allow you to open and save files directly from your mounted SwissDisk.

The following instructions will detail how to install and use a simple utility called SSL Enabler. It allows your Mac OS X filesystem’s native support for WebDAV to be encrypted using a program called sTunnel. You cannot mount your SwissDisk as a drive with out it.

Step 1 – Download, Install & Configure SSL Enabler

Use this link to download SSL Enabler from our website. Once downloaded, and mounted, copy the “SSL Enabler” program to any location on your computer, we suggest the “Applications” folder. When you launch “SSL Enabler” for the first time , it will ask if you want to install the utility (see below), click “Install”.
