Syndication Of Your Files Using XML?
Submitted by Ken Collins on August 29, 2005 - 6:47pm. Feature TalkI've been asked if SwissDisk will ever use RSS, ATOM, or any other type of XML-based syndication method in order to share a user;s encrypted storage space. The short answer is no, but I would like to cover why this is the ideal decision for all. First, by covering some ground on XML syndication, commonly referred to as "data feeds", and then by looking at how they are used.
Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Supports Secure WebDAV
Submitted by Ken Collins on August 4, 2005 - 11:06pm. Tips And TricksWith the release of the new Mac OS X Tiger (10.4) it is now possible to mount WebDAV file shares via the HTTPS protocal. To do this I'm sure they had to compile the SSL binaries directly into the finder. All this may sound a bit complicated, but using SwissDisk with OS X Tiger (and above) is by far the simplest and easiest way to access your encrypted storage space. Once again, Apple has provided what I call the usability nirvana for one of many aspects of our digital live.
