During the set up process you will be asked to enter a password three different times. THEY CAN ALL BE THE SAME. The first one is your account password, the second one is a client alias password, and the final is your encryption key. They can all be the same which may make it easier for you to remember.

The important thing to remember is the third password entry which is your encryption key password MUST be remembered because it CANNOT BE RESET and our employees DO NOT have access to it or your account.

Please note that all SwissDisk ONE accounts are provided under partnership with NineTechnology. All ONE accounts reside on a completely different data storage platform than SwissDisk Classic accounts.

SwissDisk ONE unlimited computer backup service is not portable and is non-transferable. This means that to use the service requires you to download software to a specific PC and that it can only be used on that PC. If you get a new computer or would like to use the service in a second location you will be required to signup for a second account.
